Over sixty people visited the Community Centre on the ‘open afternoon’ held on the 3rd March. They included local residents, members of groups which use the Centre, groups checking out Bullingdon as a possible venue, and representatives of other Community Associations in the city.

The comments on the new building were very positive: ‘Very impressed. I will be back again’.  ‘Absolutely lovely, such an improvement’. ‘Just fantastic. Miracles do happen!’ ‘Its beautiful. Light and airy with a proper community feel ‘.

There were suggestions for new activities: ‘Could we have a weekday singing groups, for the over 50s’. ‘Community movie nights’ . ‘Yoga’ ‘Cookery group’.

Also, some improvements were suggested: ‘Better sound insulation in the meeting room’. ‘Could do with a clock in the main hall’. ‘Toilet to near to the wall in the disabled tiolet’.

Overall, it was an enjoyable and positive event. Thank you to all who attended. We hope to see you back again soon!
