Recent weeks have seen the Centre feature on the local radio while it continues to attract interest for its state-of-the-art architectural design.

  • Shirley Nelder was interviewed last week on Radio Oxford about our older peoples groups, Chips and Chat and Bog Stars. Radio Oxford will be sending a reporter along on the 21st April to interview people who use these groups and the volunteers who run them.
  • A group of students from Oxford Brookes architecture programme visited two weeks agoThe group was led by Dr Andrea Placidi, with whom the trustees worked closely in choosing and improving the original designs for the Centre.
  • This week Jessop and Cook - the architectural firm that designed the centre - will host a visit by a delegation of architects and representatives of the building industry. The Centre is being held up as a model that others might wish to emulate.

We're delighted the Community Centre is receiving such positive exposure.
